Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces, and systems. You will perform complex repairs, inspections, and maintenance to ensure safe operation, and may lead teams on more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities include engine work, hydraulics, electrical wiring checks, and compliance with technical publications. This role requires physical effort and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

Requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair required.
2–4 years of hands-on experience in repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul of certain aircraft.
Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
Replaces or repairs worn components and inspects parts for wear or defects.
Disassembles and inspects engines, reassembles and installs them.
Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
Supervises jacking and towing of aircraft and verifies work quality.
