Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of work experience.
• Professionally licensed in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and design systems per policies, standards, codes, with minimal supervision.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project issues and make independent engineering decisions.
• Possibly supervise junior engineers or designers.
• Know discipline codes and building codes.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Lead client education on design and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer/Project Manager on scope, schedule, budget.
