Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc in Phoenix seeks an experienced Fire Protection Engineer with a B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering and 10–15 years of licensed work.

You will serve as Engineer of Record in several states and lead the development of construction documents and design coordination. Responsibilities include QA/QC, coordination with disciplines, permitting, bidding, and construction administration, plus mentoring staff and engaging with clients through design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering and minimum 10-15 years of work experience as a licensed engineer.

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering project(s), including Construction Documents, Coordination with other disciplines, Permitting, Bidding and Construction Administration.
• Ensure high level of quality assurance on Construction documents, specifications, RFI responses, etc.
• Complete the job requirement of Project Engineer successfully.
• Research, develop and stay updated with latest design in coordination with vendor, senior engineer and others.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines; oversee design and production of documents.
