Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Lead Field Technician to oversee field operations in the absence of supervision and to lead remote markets. You will coordinate training, safety, quality, and daily activities to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include conducting weekly meetings, resolving technical issues, supervising 3–10 technicians, and ensuring OSHA compliance. You will work closely with office staff and management to expand service lines and maintain QA

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; SCTE, SBCA or other industry certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years operations experience required.
• 4 years operations experience may substitute for education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations in the absence of the Field Tech Supervisor.
• Hold weekly tech meetings and coordinate with remote markets.
• Conduct training on safety, quality, and customer service practices.
• Promote teamwork and align with company goals.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety practices.
• Perform work on work orders for installs or repairs.
• Maintain inventory and distribute materials.
• Coordinate with office staff, warehouse, and call center.
• Mentor field technicians and troubleshoot advanced issues.
• Ensure QA standards and safety requirements are met.
• Present information clearly to remote manager, customers and staff.
• Supervise 3–10 technicians.
• Prepare site for expansion into new service lines.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
