Job summary

Connection in New York is seeking a Lead Field Technician to own field deployments, troubleshoot complex installations, and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards across multiple client sites.

You will lead and mentor field technicians, coordinate daily activities, and serve as the primary on-site liaison with customers and project managers, with regular travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with field services and multi-site rollouts.
• Experience leading technicians or being the senior technical resource.
• Knowledge of SCCM imaging, Windows device configuration, and endpoint deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of field technicians across job sites.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety.
• Provide on-job training and technical guidance.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
• Perform advanced installation, maintenance, and repair of systems.
• Troubleshoot field problems and interpret drawings.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure installations meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Track progress and report to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
