Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Field Technician III to lead field crews, execute advanced testing and maintenance on HV/MV/LV equipment, and support commissioning activities. This role demands strong safety leadership and hands-on troubleshooting in complex substations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the field, NETA III certification, and experience with protection devices, transformers, and switchgear. EPS offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or Military experience preferred.
• 5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience and NETA III Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and reinforce all safety policies; ensure proper PPE usage across the team.
• Lead field execution of testing, inspection, and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing and diagnostics on circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, batteries and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers, project managers, and other crews to ensure efficient execution.
