JOB SUMMARY
The Field Lead – Critical Infrastructure is a senior field execution role supporting hyperscale and colocation data center construction projects ranging from 40 MW to 200 MW.
This role operates as the primary execution lead for assigned scopes, zones, or workstreams under the direction of the Site Superintendent. The Field Lead coordinates daily activities across trades, directs field crews and subcontractors within their scope, and ensures work is executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
The Field Lead serves as a key extension of the Site Superintendent, translating execution plans into daily field action. This role requires strong technical judgment, field presence, and the ability to resolve issues in real time while escalating risks, conflicts, and scope gaps appropriately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Field Execution & Trade Coordination (40%)
Lead day-to-day field execution for assigned scopes, zones, or workstreams.
Direct STC field labor and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners within assigned areas.
Coordinate daily activities across trades including electrical, mechanical, automation, controls, networking, and commissioning.
Participate in daily coordination meetings, site walks, and trade alignment discussions.
