Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Tulsa is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on field observations, sampling, and basic testing of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision, with paid training and support for certification opportunities.

You will collect data, document site conditions, assist with testing activities, and coordinate with project teams, while developing essential field skills and a strong customer-service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain basic certifications applicable to the work performed per ECS Technician Certification Policy.
• Valid driver's license if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision
• Assists with construction materials testing activities on project sites
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers; Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors
• Assists with preparation and submission of daily field reports
• Supports basic calculations and data entry related to testing results
• Assists in organizing and maintaining field equipment
• Notifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipment
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned
