Job summary

DB STERLIN CONSULTANTS INC in Wisconsin seeks a Survey Crew Member II to perform advanced field surveying, serve as party chief for field surveys, and ensure accuracy of data. You will operate Total Station and GPS data collectors, set control points, and review survey results while coordinating with the Senior Project Engineer.

This is an on-site, full-time position requiring an Associate's degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics and typically 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience: typically 5+ years in surveying.
• Staff supervision: oversee lower level trainees and crew members.

Responsibilities

• Levels runs as directed by the Survey Crew Party Chief.
• Sets control points and benchmarks.
• Determines elevations and laying out stakes.
• Operates Total Station and GPS Data Collector.
• Sets up instrument for data collection or level runs.
• Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number, IDs.
• Supervises survey crew and assists Chief as needed.
• Loads/unloads equipment and clears survey lines.
• Conducts topographical surveys and cross sections.
