Job summary

Stantec is seeking Field Survey Technicians to join our Wisconsin teams in Milwaukee, Madison or Sturgeon Bay. You will perform surveying, mapping and data collection activities on field projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, with knowledge of field survey methods, GPS and robotic total stations, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical school preferred; 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Field survey methods and calculations knowledge required.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Loads vehicles with tools and equipment, ensuring materials are loaded correctly.
• May drive company vehicle to reach jobsites.
• Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Verifies field survey data accuracy and prepares maps or sketches daily.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
