Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to supervise field crews in surveying projects. The role involves managing daily operations, utilizing GPS and robotic total stations, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

The position requires at least three years of surveying experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed. Competitive salary will be discussed with the manager during interview and is based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience conducting surveys.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.
• Ensures crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
• Ensures crew follows company safety procedures.
• Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.
