DB STERLIN CONSULTANTS INC in Wisconsin seeks a Survey Crew Member I to support land surveyors in the field, maintain equipment, collect accurate measurements, and prepare records that meet legal standards.

You will assist with level runs, set control points, operate Total Station and GPS Data Collector, and help keep field files and sketches organized. Valid driver’s license required; program completion within two years is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of basic trigonometry.
• Must complete mandatory survey certificate program within two years.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Assists with level runs as directed by the supervisor.
• Assists in setting control points and benchmarks.
• Assists in determining elevations and laying out stakes.
• Assists in operating all survey equipment, including Total Station and GPS Data Collector.
• Set up instruments for data collection or level runs.
• Assists in marking points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other marks.
• Assists in marking points of measurement with ID numbers, station numbers, or other marks.
• Cuts and clears brush from survey lines; loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
