Job summary

JPI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee field construction at multifamily projects. You will coordinate trades, maintain schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards across framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and more.

Ideal candidates have five or more years in construction, with three+ years in multi‑family settings, plus strong scheduling and PC skills. This role involves site leadership and collaboration with the Superintendent to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of construction experience preferred; minimum five years for multi‑family experience.
• Must be familiar with multifamily construction procedures and scheduling practices.
• Proficiency with PC software and construction scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a representative of JPI’s culture and guiding principles.
• Ensure quality, schedule, and performance for assigned trades/section.
• Conduct inspections and punch lists; ensure items are completed prior to inspection.
• Coordinate subcontractor work and material deliveries; manage inspections and safety.
