Job summary

JPI in Dallas is seeking a Superintendent to lead onsite aspects of multifamily projects, including Garden, Walkup, Affordable, and Wrap types, and to establish a jobsite culture that fosters mentoring, growth, and accountability for all field activities.

The role requires strong knowledge of multi-family construction procedures, familiarity with building codes, and experience in leading safety, scheduling, and coordination with PMs and trade partners to meet cost and schedule goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s preferred).
• OSHA 30 HR completed within 90 days of hire.
• 4–6 years of construction experience; 3 years in multi-family supervision.
• Familiar with multi-family construction procedures and building codes.
• Strong scheduling knowledge and PC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s Culture and Guiding Principles.
• Develop and maintain a TEAM culture on the project site.
• Communicate with PM and project team about cost or schedule issues.
• Monitor safety, scheduling, quality control, and code compliance.
• Develop and implement a plan to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain and communicate the jobsite schedule with the field team.
• Lead safety culture and coordinate with APM on project close-out documents.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field (preferred)

OSHA 30 hour certification

4–6 years of construction experience

3 years multi-family supervisory experience

Familiarity with multi-family construction procedures

Knowledge of construction building codes

Knowledge of construction scheduling practices

PC proficiency
