Job summary

MPI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support multifamily and commercial projects across the region. You will assist the superintendent, coordinate subs, monitor safety, and help keep work on schedule.

The role requires 2+ years of field construction experience, readiness to travel extensively, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field construction experience, preferably multifamily/commercial.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home for extended periods.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, safety, and site coordination.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily construction site operations and project execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to keep work on schedule.
• Monitor project quality and ensure work follows plans and company standards.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and document progress; support milestone tracking.
• Communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders; participate in meetings.
• Travel extensively to support projects throughout the assigned territory.
