Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Monroe, LA is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field operations, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will execute project plans, uphold safety and quality control, direct field staff and subcontractors, and manage procurement and scheduling across multiple sites. Travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of construction supervision experience.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation methods (plow and HDD).
• Two-year college or technical diploma preferred.
• Understanding of construction practices, documents, costs and budgets.
• Ability to plan and manage project schedules.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Military experience equivalent to 12N or 12H.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities comply with approved plans, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Champion site safety by enforcing standards and leading safety meetings.
• Monitor short-term schedules, durations, material needs, and progress to milestones.
• Direct field staff and coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors to meet goals.
• Supervise craft workers and maintain accountability for performance and site expectations.
• Manage procurement tasks and review supplier and subcontractor invoices.
