Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution on construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment with quality standards.

The role provides hands-on leadership to field personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders while coordinating day-to-day site activities, forecasting resources, and ensuring documentation and compliance across projects.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated construction experience overseeing field operations and managing multiple trades, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Strong working knowledge of drawings, specs, methods, and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience coordinating work to meet schedules and budgets.
• Leadership, motivation, and development of field teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify field challenges early and coordinate timely resolutions with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites as needed.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and related safety certifications.

Aufgaben

• Champion a safety-first culture across the jobsite in alignment with Benchmark, client, OSHA, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct site walkthroughs and safety inspections; partner with Safety Department for corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate daily field operations including subcontractors, trades, personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with milestones and schedules.
• Forecast short- and long-term activities, manpower needs, equipment, and deliveries.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure proper field execution.
• Identify scope changes, schedule impacts, and cost concerns early and communicate them.
• Own field cost control including labor, materials, and waste management.
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets, photos, and other records.
• Communicate with project management and stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• Lead grade control and layout verification with surveyors and engineers.
• Resolve field conflicts and quality concerns promptly.
• Perform routine inspections to verify compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead project closeout activities including punch lists and client walkthroughs.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior field personnel.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of field workforce.
• Uphold Benchmark's standards of excellence, accountability, and integrity.
