Qualifications

• Demonstrated construction experience overseeing field operations and managing multiple trades, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, methods, and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience coordinating work to meet project schedules and budget expectations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify field challenges early and coordinate timely resolutions with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first culture across the jobsite and enforce applicable safety requirements.
• Lead and coordinate daily field operations with subcontractors, trades, and field personnel.
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with milestones, schedules, and performance expectations.
• Forecast short- and long-term construction activities and manpower needs with project management.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure field teams understand the scope of work.
• Identify scope changes and communicate impacts early to project management.
• Oversee field costs, labor productivity, timesheets, and material quantities.
• Maintain accurate field documentation including daily reports and photos.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout execution.
• Lead grade control and layout verification with surveyors and field teams.
• Resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and quality concerns.
• Perform routine inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Lead project closeout activities including punch lists and client walkthroughs.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior field staff.
• Support recruiting and onboarding to build a skilled field workforce.
• Uphold Benchmark standards of excellence, accountability, teamwork, and integrity.
