Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution of construction projects in Texas, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards. The role provides hands-on leadership to field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, coordinating day-to-day site activities.

The ideal candidate has extensive field leadership experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced utility

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience overseeing field operations and multiple trades.
Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, methods, and safety standards.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving.
OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and related safety certifications.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Lead daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors and crews.
Monitor progress to meet milestones and budgets.
Review drawings and specs to ensure correct execution.
Maintain field documentation and daily reports.
Promote safety culture and enforce requirements.
Support project closeout and punch list activities.
