Job summary

Chemtek, a family-owned American manufacturer, is seeking a senior Field Service Technician II to lead installations and diagnose equipment problems at customer sites. You will own jobs from arrival through testing and documentation, mentoring less-experienced technicians along the way.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently at industrial sites, and travel up to approximately 50%.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of mechanical experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems independently.
• Professional customer-service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field installations, ensuring equipment and parts are ready before travel.
• Install storage, pumping, spray, and delivery systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Troubleshoot pumps, hoses, valves, and basic electrical components.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and support staff.
