Job summary
Honeywell INC. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BAS and Fire Alarm/Life Safety systems. You will provide technical leadership to field teams and ensure compliance with NFPA standards while driving service improvements.
The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires extensive experience guiding projects, mentoring technicians, and delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years installing, commissioning, and servicing Building Automation Systems (BAS) or related building tech.
- 5+ years diagnosing complex controls, software, hardware, and network issues.
- 5+ years leading field service projects or technical teams in a customer-facing environment.
- 5+ years testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and system commissioning.
- Understanding of NFPA codes and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair BAS and Fire Alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues on-site and remotely.
- Mentor and support field service technicians.
- Collaborate with customers and contractors to deliver solutions.
- Train customers on system operation and maintenance.
- Lead service projects and manage multiple priorities.
