Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Lead Advanced Field Service Technician for Building Automation Systems (BAS).

You will lead advanced installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization, serving as a technical resource for field teams and customers to resolve complex system issues and improve performance. You will report to the Field Service Manager and work on-site at Duluth, GA.

Qualifications

5+ years field service experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or related building technologies.
Strong BAS installation, programming, configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequences of operation.
Independent diagnostics and implementation of corrective actions for complex issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.
On-site field work with adherence to safety procedures and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute advanced installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and optimization of BAS and related systems.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues in BAS controllers, networks, software, field devices, HVAC interfaces, and life safety systems.
Provide on-the-job guidance to technicians and improve troubleshooting capabilities and service quality.
Configure, test, and commission BAS to ensure proper operation and system integration.
Support integration of BAS with fire alarm, life safety, security, and other building systems as needed.
Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, system architectures, and sequences of operation to resolve field challenges.
Conduct advanced testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance evaluations for reliability.
Collaborate with field service management, engineering, project management, subcontractors, and customers to coordinate activities.
Maintain accurate service documentation and commissioning records per Honeywell procedures.
Promote safety culture by following site requirements and regulatory standards.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Support customer training and provide technical recommendations to maximize system reliability.
