Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in field service, installation, commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting of Building Automation Systems or related technologies.
• Strong technical expertise in BAS installation, programming, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting, including integrated building systems.
• Experience troubleshooting complex control systems, network communications, controllers, sensors, actuators, and building system interfaces.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, system architectures, and sequences of operation.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical problems, implement corrective actions, and support escalated service issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to explain technical issues to customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in the field, manage priorities, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute advanced installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and optimization for BAS and related building technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving BAS controllers, networks, software, field devices, and life-safety interfaces.
• Provide advanced guidance and on-the-job support to field service technicians to improve troubleshooting and service quality.
• Configure, test, and commission BAS to ensure proper operation and compliance with customer requirements and standards.
• Support integration and troubleshooting of BAS with fire alarm, life safety, and other building systems.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and system documentation to resolve field challenges.
• Conduct advanced system testing, preventive maintenance, and performance evaluations for reliability.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, project management, subcontractors, and customers to coordinate service activities.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and commissioning records in line with Honeywell procedures.
• Promote safety by following site requirements and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Support customer training and provide technical recommendations to maximize reliability.
