Integrated Power Services seeks a field service professional to lead jobs and service technicians, defining work scopes for reliability and maintenance while performing high-voltage testing and NETA-related tasks. You will mentor teammates and ensure safety standards on every assignment.

Role requires traveling locally/overnight, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach. IPS values safety, teamwork, and integrity across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Electrical Power or military equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• NETA II or higher preferred or equivalent skills/experience.
• OSHA 30 hour / MSHA / NFPA 70-E training preferred.
• Team collaboration and professional communication emphasized.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobs and service technicians in the field.
• Represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
• Develop proposals, perform job walks, and define work scope for reliability, maintenance, and NETA testing.
• Mentor and train team members in advanced electrical skills.
• Act on own authority under Project Manager guidance.
• Complete field service safety checklists on every job.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, startup, and collect data on LV/MV/HV systems up to 500kV and relay calibration.
• Instrument transformer tests.
• Power transformer testing (Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance).
• Test electro-mechanical and solid state relays.
• Cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot).
• Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting.
• LV/MV/HV switchgear and circuit breaker testing.
• Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to emergencies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel locally and overnight.
• Work flexible hours, overtime and weekends, on-call as required.
• Work safely alone and as part of a team.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures.
