Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a General Foreperson to oversee daily operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols, and mentor crews. The role involves troubleshooting on job sites and leading employee/contractor training to ensure productivity and safety.

You will supervise field crews, interpret work orders, and manage reporting in the customer system while maintaining strong client communications and attention to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication with client representatives, conferring with customers and contractors; obtain permission to perform work.
• Carry out job site inspections and maintain safe working conditions; mitigate hazards.
• Cost control and invoice reconciliation.
• Interpret orders and report work in the customer system.
• Direct emergencies and assist with incident reports and investigations.
• Supervise crew on new tasks, work production, and safety practices.
• Administer training and disciplinary actions per policies.
• Participate in regional safety training and follow safety guidelines.
