Job summary

Carrier (Automated Logic, a Carrier Company) is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to own turnkey project delivery, from install to commissioning and troubleshooting of DDC systems. You will mentor junior technicians, serve as a trusted customer advisor, and coordinate with Project Managers to keep schedules and quality on track.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in Building Automation or HVAC, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform demanding physical tasks while working at elevated

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Building Automation or HVAC.
• Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods.
• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Turn‑Key Delivery: Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior techs and advise customers for high‑quality outcomes.
• Risk & Coordination: Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure clear communication.
• Travel & Flexibility: Travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
• Proficiency & Growth: Demonstrate deep proficiency with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Project Integrity: Maintain expert‑level documentation and commissioning logs.
