Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Lead Field Engineer to own end-to-end project delivery for building automation systems. You will install, commission, and troubleshoot DDC systems while mentoring junior technicians and serving as a trusted customer advisor.

Travel is required as project priorities shift, and you will leverage deep knowledge of ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines to deliver safe, high-performance solutions across complex environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in Building Automation or HVAC.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Turn-Key Delivery: install, commission, and troubleshoot DDC systems and deliver full software solutions.
• Technical Leadership: mentor junior techs and advise customers for high-quality outcomes.
• Risk & Coordination: work with Project Managers to manage risk and ensure reliable delivery.
• Travel & Flexibility: travel as needed with shifting priorities.
• Proficiency & Growth: deep proficiency with ALC products, systems, and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Project Integrity: maintain expert documentation for commissioning and progress tracking.
