Job summary
Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver durable building automation solutions. You will apply engineering judgment across HVAC systems, IP networking, and control strategies, with travel to project sites as needed and end-to-end project ownership.
Ideal candidates have HVAC/building automation experience, a valid driver's license, and physical capability to perform field tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years HVAC/Building Automation experience with IP networking, Modbus or PLC programming.
- Valid Driver's License and insurability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
- Able to work up to 8 feet and use ladders or lifts.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and optimize DDC systems and networks.
- Solve automation challenges and mitigate project risks.
- Train building owners on system operation and coordinate with Project Managers.
- Travel as needed and own complex projects end-to-end.
- Maintain documentation and participate in project reviews for continuous improvement.
