Job summary

Direct Communications in Pocatello, ID is seeking a Construction Crew Foreman to lead our fiber optic buildout across rural communities. You will supervise daily operations, oversee installation, repair, and maintenance, and set the safety tone on site.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of crew leadership in utility construction, drilling rig experience, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and a willingness to travel within the service footprint.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years leading a crew in utility construction.
Drilling rig experience is required.
Valid driver's license required; a CDL is highly preferred.
Ability to perform manual labor in varying weather and lift 50+ lbs.
Willingness to travel throughout the service footprint and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Lead daily productivity for installation, repair, and maintenance of the fiber optic network.
Foster a respectful and safety-driven crew environment.
Operate heavy equipment and drilling rigs to meet quality and safety standards.
