Job summary

Starbird Chicken in Seattle, WA is seeking a full-time Restaurant Supervisor to lead during busy service and uphold Starbird's standards of hospitality and food quality.

You'll supervise floor operations, coach team members, and ensure smooth opening/closing, cash handling, and safety compliance, while delivering warm, memorable guest experiences and maintaining restaurant cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ years of experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or food service.
• Experience with opening and closing procedures.
• Ability to lead staff and supervise teams as well as coach and develop team members.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days.
• Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours, lift 30 lbs, and work safely in a kitchen.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and guest service standards.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during service, setting the tone for hospitality.
• Monitor cleanliness, address guest concerns, support FOH during busy periods.
• Coach team members in real time and reinforce Starbird values.
• Manage deployment, workflow, and operational routines; ensure food quality and safety.
• Open or close the restaurant as assigned and handle cash and security protocols.
• Partner with management to drive operational consistency.
