Job summary

The Maintenance Technician II at Nordstrom in Tampa, FL will lead a team to maintain a safe, well-run store environment for customers and employees. The role supports the Facility Manager, ensuring Store readiness for daily business and coordinating with vendors and store leadership.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC, building systems, electrical and mechanical work, and documenting activities in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years in hands-on facilities maintenance, with mechanical and HVAC focus.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance; able to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems impacting store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and CMMS records; document outcomes.
• Mentor other technicians and coordinate with vendors and FM.
• Ensure safety procedures (LOTO, PPE) are followed.
