Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the cost-efficient maintenance of diverse facilities and to supervise a team and inmates in remodeling, repairs, and preventive maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and related trades.

You will coordinate with corporate leadership on projects, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Five (5) years in construction, plumbing, electricity, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry or related work.
• Journeyman's certification in one or more trades preferred.
• Supervisory experience demonstrated.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost-efficient maintenance of various facilities.
• Oversee a team and vendors for remodeling, maintenance, and repairs across multiple trades.
• Coordinate with corporate to manage construction projects and permits.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and production records for efficiency.
• Monitor BAS; analyze energy usage and costs.
• Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies.
• Coach workers to achieve goals and maintain quality standards.
• Perform maintenance work and respond to emergencies when needed.
• Supervise inmates/detainees receiving maintenance training.
