Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. in Florence, AZ, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee cost-efficient maintenance of various facilities and manage a team and vendors across plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and electrical systems.

You will supervise inmates/detainees in training, ensure safety, and coordinate with corporate to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Journeyman certification in one or more trades preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with corporate and supervisors to manage construction/remodeling projects per blueprints and standards.
• Oversee a team and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and remodels across multiple trades.
• Monitor energy usage and costs via BAS and optimize savings.
• Enforce safety regulations and coach workers toward goals.
• Perform maintenance tasks or supervise emergencies as needed.
