Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to ensure efficient operations of MEP systems in a Denver facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, supervise staff where needed, and coordinate with contractors to keep systems reliable and compliant.

You will also manage inventory, respond to emergencies, and prepare monthly operation reports to inform the leadership team about building performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; apprentice or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of related trade experience in building operations.
• Appropriate trade licenses or permits may be required by location.
• EPA Universal certification (Section 608) for refrigerants a must.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; basic computing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and monitor activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections per manufacturers' guidance.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and technicians.
• Maintain stock/inventory and respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Prepare monthly reports and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
