Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Principal/Sr. Analyst to join our cost/schedule control team. The role focuses on earned value management and performance measurement across multiple contracts within an IPT, with leadership responsibilities for junior analysts.

The position is onsite in Redondo Beach with a hybrid work schedule. A U.S. Government Secret clearance is required, and a strong background in EVM and MS Office is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or related fields OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in these areas.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable period.
• Must have experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
• Lead and train other analysts as needed within the IPT.
• Interface with program managers, functional management, and CAMs for cost control.
• Prepare government cost performance reports and variance analysis.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting; update bookings and profitability.
