Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support Melbourne, FL operations on-site. The role oversees EVM-driven cost control, budgets, and variances within an IPT, collaborating with program managers and CAMs to ensure program success.

The position requires DoD secret clearance, strong EVMS experience, and the ability to produce budget baselines, funding analyses, and IPMR–style reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Or Master's degree with specified years in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with background investigation completed within last 6 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access.
• Must work on site daily in Melbourne, FL.
• Ability to use financial systems and perform cost performance reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Interface with program managers, functional management, and CAMs to provide financial and administrative support and analysis.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering IPT.
• Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structure, objective performance criteria, estimates to complete, and support internal and external variance analysis reporting.
• Prepare budget baselines, funding analysis, cost risk analysis, and visibility reports.
• Develop, prepare, and review government cost performance reports and performance measurement variance analyses.
• Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration.
• Assist in preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC calculations.
• Assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting.
• Support the preparation and submission of monthly CDRLs such as IPMR.
• Support variance analysis reports; incorporate baseline changes into the EVM system using MPM, SAP, BW, wInsight, MS Excel/Project/Powerpoint.
