Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking an Event Manager in the United States to plan and deliver programs end to end for an Experience Studio team. You will own budgets, manage suppliers, and lead onsite execution with a producer guiding strategy and client relationship.

You will coordinate with Attendee Experience Coordinators and manage multiple programs concurrently, ensuring timely closes and thorough debriefs. A strong background in corporate events and Cvent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four or more years planning corporate meetings and events.
• Experience as onsite lead on ten or more programs a year.
• Independent management of program budgets up to $500,000.
• Knowledge of hotel and supplier contracts, banquet orders, and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver assigned programs end to end with the producer, from kickoff through onsite execution.
• Keep the program plan current in the client’s project tools with tasks, owners, and dates.
• Build and manage program budgets up to $500,000, with senior support for larger programs.
• Manage suppliers (hotels, venues, transport, F&B, A/V) from contract to final invoices.
• Coordinate attendee housing and communications with Attendee Experience Coordinators.
• Lead onsite for programs, including staffing and run of show.
