Job summary

Hightop Hospitality Catering seeks an Event Lead to supervise event teams, serve as the on-site liaison for clients and venue partners, and drive exceptional guest experiences across weddings, corporate events, and galas in the Twin Cities area.

You’ll manage pre-event planning, coordinate service and logistics, and ensure dietary accommodations and safety standards are met while delivering seamless event execution from setup through teardown.

Qualifications

• 2+ years catering, hospitality, banquet, or event experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working directly with clients/guests in hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary accommodations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead event staff during setup, service and teardown and ensure tasks are completed.
• Review event details, timelines, layouts, and BEOs prior to events to ensure smooth execution.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and venue partners; manage requests professionally.
• Complete post-event reports and communicate outcomes to management.
