Job summary
Mount Sinai Health System seeks a seasoned Pharmacy Solutions Architect to lead strategy, design, and integration of pharmacy technology across the health system. You will collaborate with informatics, operations, IT, nursing, and vendor partners to optimize medication management, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include leading Epic Willow build activities, CPOE workflows, and smart infusion pump initiatives, while aligning with organizational goals and digital transformation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in pharmacy tech or informatics with some management experience.
- Epic Willow certifications are highly preferred for this role.
- Experience with Epic Willow modules for inpatient and ambulatory settings is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize pharmacy technology solutions across care settings.
- Lead architecture discussions and integration efforts with EHR, pharmacy automation, and billing systems.
- Configure and maintain medication records, dosing parameters, and infusion settings in Epic Willow.
- Collaborate with informatics, operations, IT, and vendors to meet regulatory and safety goals.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps supporting digital transformation in Pharmacy Services.
- Lead projects through planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation optimization.
- Validate billing and revenue cycle workflows to ensure integrity.
