Job summary

University of Texas Dell Medical School seeks an Epic Business Intelligence Report Developer to lead Epic reporting across Revenue Cycle, Clinical and Operational areas. You will design, build, test, and deploy reports, and serve as primary technical contact for Epic reporting needs.

Requires Epic Certification (Cogito preferred), a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of healthcare IT experience, and strong SQL/data warehouse skills. This on-site, exempt role offers 40 hours weekly at UT Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in health, science, or business field, or in lieu of degree with at least 5 years of experience in supporting clinical, ancillary, or business environments will be considered.
• Active Epic Certification (Cogito preferred) and ongoing maintenance of certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, configures, tests, and maintains Epic reports across Revenue Cycle, Clinical, and Operational domains.
• Acts as a liaison between clinical operations, IT, and vendors to meet reporting objectives.
• Manages issue tracking, risk registries, and change control; leads testing and deployment activities.
• Provides end-user support and training, remote and on-site.
• Collaborates with data warehouse teams to ensure reporting integration and data quality.
