Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin’s Dell Medical School seeks an Epic Business Intelligence Report Developer to serve as SME and technical contact for Epic reporting across Revenue Cycle, Clinical, and Operations. You will design, develop, test, and deploy Epic Reports and manage escalation on changes and fixes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and report analysts, support end users, and help optimize reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in health, science, or business field, or in lieu of a degree with at least 5 year(s) of experience in supporting clinical, ancillary, or business environments will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of clinical information systems, clinical informatics, data management and administration.
• Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, configures, tests, and provides maintenance of clinical information systems with a focus in integrated multi-specialty ambulatory care.
• Maintains issue tracking, risk registries and drives definition of scope and priorities of work.
• Provides support to end-users both remotely and in-person; monitors, investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves tickets.
