Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager in California to lead utility-scale solar projects from planning to closeout. You will manage safety, scheduling, budgeting, buyout, and project controls while providing leadership and technical guidance to internal and external teams.

You will oversee large labor crews, manage billing, negotiate changes and subcontracts, and ensure on‑time delivery. The role requires extensive travel (minimum 50%), strong communication, and a track record of project

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills).
• Leadership ability to assemble diverse teams in a remote environment.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu; CMiC experience a plus.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and take responsibility for large self-performed work with significant labor crews.
• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
• Oversee project billings, cash flow, and aged receivables.
• Present and negotiate change orders with the owner.
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Set up job procedures for buyout, shop drawings, and material delivery.
• Maintain project schedule and cost forecasting; high-quality reporting.
• Train, supervise, and mentor project team per policy.
