Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar projects from planning to close-out. The role is based full-time on a Tonopah jobsite with extensive travel in remote areas, leading large labor crews and coordinating with owners, architects and subcontractors.

You will plan sequencing, manage budgets, oversee safety, and drive project controls, reporting, and payments while mentoring a growing team. Strong scheduling and CMiC/MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills).
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite, as well as other industry-standard tools, such as Bluebeam Revu. CMiC experience a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating).
• Understanding of utility-scale PV plant construction means, methods, sequencing, and techniques.
• Able to travel extensively (minimum 50%) including lengthy jobsite-based assignments in remote / rural areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan sequencing, crew sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor spend.
• Execute work and track actual results, adjusting forecasts to reflect production.
• Develop safety plans and implement procedures.
• Oversee project billings and maximize cash flow while reducing pay cycles.
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management, especially cost forecasting and ETC.
• Manage and train project team; mentor to support career growth.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance; document significant events.
