Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for the EPC team to lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects in California from pre-construction through COD. You will drive engineering, estimating, contracting, and execution while ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in construction with solar experience, proficiency in Primavera P6/Microsoft Project, and strong leadership and client-management skills. Travel to on-site locations is expected.

Qualifications

B.S. in an accredited Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years construction experience with 3+ years of self-perform construction experience. Utility-scale solar experience required.
LEED AP is recommended.
Cal OSHA 30-hour Construction training certification is required.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage safety programs and culture on the project.
Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP) with supervision.
Manage client relationships and provide timely project status updates and solutions.
Plan and track project schedule including engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
Lead change management with client, vendors, and subcontractors.
