Job summary

SunEnergy1 is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager to lead on-site execution of utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects. You will coordinate construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates will bring hands-on construction leadership, extensive EPC project experience, and the ability to drive projects from mobilization to turnover. Travel to nationwide sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Lead field operations while ensuring compliance with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal project teams.
• Conduct daily planning meetings and maintain effective communication with engineering, procurement, and corporate management.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify schedule risks or construction challenges.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental requirements.
• Review project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documents to ensure proper execution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve field issues and implement design changes.
• Manage field documentation including daily reports, progress updates, manpower reports, and production tracking.
• Oversee quality control inspections and ensure work complies with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Support project forecasting by monitoring labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material availability.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and support project turnover to the owner.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, utilities, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop field engineers, superintendents, and site personnel.
