Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar projects in California. You will drive planning, budgeting, buyout, and controls, while mentoring teams to deliver on time and within cost.

The role requires strong leadership, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation across remote and onsite teams. Ideal candidates have field construction experience (5–8 years), proficiency with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu, and familiarity with CMiC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience.
• Strong leadership to coordinate remote teams.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam Revu; CMiC a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.
• Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 50%).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and lead self-performed work scopes with large labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and ensure safety procedures.
• Oversee project billings and optimize cash flow and collections.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owner.
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases; ensure on-time buyout.
• Maintain project schedule and cost forecasting; manage risk.
• Organize and lead regular owner/partners meetings.
