Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Manager to oversee utility-scale solar, storage, and high-voltage substation projects nationwide. This full-time, on-site role is based in Harriburg, IL with travel.

Lead planning, budgeting, buyout, risk management, and project controls to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating with superintendents, optimizing labor, ensuring safety, managing billings and cash flow, and handling change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 5-8 years field construction management experience with supervisory duties.
• Strong leadership and remote team coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction tools; familiarity with CMiC/Bluebeam is a plus.
• Familiarity with contract law and project accounting; strong scheduling and cost-control skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (50%+), including remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage self-performed scopes with large labor crews.
• Develop safety plans and implement procedures; oversee project billings for cash flow.
• Lead change orders negotiations with owners; manage subcontract and material purchases.
• Maintain project cost forecasts and progress reporting to management.
• Direct preconstruction activities and coordinate with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms and risk mitigation strategies.
• Train and supervise project team; support career development.
