Job summary

Raytheon Tucson is seeking an Integration & Test Environmental Qualification Lead to plan, execute, and document environmental tests ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-810 and program requirements.

You will lead TRRs, coordinate between design teams, test labs, and program management, and mentor engineers. A BS in engineering and 5+ years in environmental testing are required; DoD clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering and 5+ years in the field.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810 and environmental qualification testing.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced test environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of environmental qualification tests (vibration, shock, temperature, humidity).
• Develop test plans and procedures per military/industry requirements.
• Interface between design teams, labs, systems engineering, and program management.
• Review requirements and ensure test coverage throughout lifecycle.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews and manage test anomalies until resolution.
• Interpret test data and document results for customer delivery.
• Provide guidance on qualification strategy and compliance approaches.
• Support risk management, scheduling, cost estimates, and resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
