Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate. The role is 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ, focusing on designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environments for Raytheon effector products in lab, production, and field settings.

Responsibilities include creating mechanical test systems for vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, electro‑optical environments and delivering high-accuracy solutions while maintaining production readiness

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
2+ years in mechanical design or production support.
2+ years with 3D CAD modeling tools (CREO/ProE).
Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience creating mechanical drawings or engineering documentation.
Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

Create mechanical test systems used across advanced environments (vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, electro‑optical).
Build and validate test solutions delivering high accuracy and reliability in production settings.
Diagnose production issues and propose design improvements to elevate performance.
