Job summary

The Senior Enterprise Data Modeler at BOK Financial Corporation will lead enterprise data modeling initiatives across modern cloud data platforms such as AWS Iceberg, Databricks, and Snowflake.

You will design scalable, performant data models that support analytics, data science, and enterprise reporting, partnering with data architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with the enterprise data strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, or related field.
• 10+ years in data modeling with at least 5 years in cloud-native environments.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; knowledge of data governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for cloud-native data platforms.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements and enterprise data strategy.
• Develop and maintain data modeling standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across distributed cloud environments.
• Provide expertise in schema evolution, partitioning strategies, and metadata management for Iceberg, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Integrate structured and semi-structured data into unified models while mentoring junior data modelers and contributing to enterprise architecture efforts.
